After Iran announced they would be putting several Al Qaeda suspects on trial, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said: “We want to see action, and the action we want to see is that they turn over those al Qaeda members in their custody to their country of origin.”

It’s a shame the Bush administration takes the opposite position when it comes to their holding of Al Qaeda suspects. Every country with the exception of the Howard government in Australia has demanded the trial or return of their citizens detained at Guantanamo Bay, refused by the Bush administration. How does White House explain it’s completely contradictory positions? Oh, I know, we’re the good guys, they’re not…right…
