With Prime Minister Howards proposed “anti-terror” legislation, if I point out the unfashionable truth that it is legal under the U.N. charter (which Australia signed) for Iraqi’s to militarily resist the colonial occupation of their country by the U.S., Britain and Australia, that view is now “urging a person to assist the enemy”?

If I point out that John Howard and Robert Hill are war criminals for waging unprovoked war (the Nuremberg crime of aggression) against a country without any proof of imminent threat, am I now to be imprisoned for sedition? If I ask why is an Australian citizen (David Hicks) allowed by the Howard government to be held and possibly tortured in contravention of the U.N convention on Human Rights in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba am I to be charged with supporting “terrorism”?

Why is only one day of questioning to be allowed of this legislation?
