My letter to Rush
This is what I wrote to Rush Limbaugh (rush@eibnet.com the least I can do is inflict more spam mail on him):
I’m proud to say I’ve never listened to your show and never intend to. However, I read transcripts of your comments attempting to equate the torture of prisoners by U.S. military with college pranks:

I’m proud to say I’ve never listened to your show and never intend to. However, I read transcripts of your comments attempting to equate the torture of prisoners by U.S. military with college pranks:
“This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation and we’re going to ruin people’s lives over it and we’re going to hamper our military effort, and then we are going to really hammer them because they had a good time. You know, these people are being fired at every day. I’m talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You of heard of need to blow some steam off?”
I presume therefore you have engaged in sado-masochistic humiliations yourself, hence your ability to comment so authoritatively that hooding, threatening people with death and torture, humiliation, and murder are “blow[ing] off steam” and “having a good time”?
I’ll attempt to be as polite as I can: you are sick, perverted and in need of professional psychological help if you can so completely dehumanise yourself to support this behaviour. I can only recommend you submit yourself to that torture that you so wholeheartedly condone and then report back your experiences to your breathless listeners. You don’t have the opportunity to apologise, you are now on record as condoning torture because you believe that somehow you hold an unimpeachable high moral position. Your words betray you.
