After being tipped off by a member of Voice of America, it turns out Ahmed Chalabi’s charges have been dropped, according to Al Jazeera, and the BBC.

Despite Reuters being attributed by the Sydney Morning Herald, I didn’t see it cross their wires and almost needless to say, it seems not to have been picked up by any U.S. news corporations (or even the dissident press).

That seems to be a story in itself, the discipline of the U.S. corporate media in attempting to sweep the story of Chalabi’s behaviour under the rug, perhaps in time for his coronation at the soon-to-be-manipulated elections?
