LANDR Selector

While I’m not always able to tell the world about what I’m doing at LANDR Audio, I am happy to now be able to highlight the new samples library site we have released. This is a massive expansion of our previous samples site, now offering samples from many different sample vendors. One particular aspect of the site I was involved in over the last 18 months, was research and development of LANDR Selector, which is our samples content recommender, utilising similarity derived from acoustic features to provide a “sounds-like” search facility.

I explain more of the thinking and goals behind the project in an interview for LANDR’s blog. I’ll also be speaking on the Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg panel “AI Music Services Today and Tomorrow” how LANDR uses AI and machine learning to make music production tools more responsive to musicians needs.
